Mission
PeptideInsight is a non-commercial, independent educational resource about therapeutic peptides. Our goal is to provide accurate, evidence-based information drawn from published peer-reviewed research. We do not sell peptides, provide medical advice, or have financial relationships with peptide manufacturers, sellers, or clinics.
Methodology
Every peptide profile on this site follows a consistent methodology. We review published literature from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ClinicalTrials.gov. Each claim is graded using our evidence framework and linked to its source publication. We report both positive findings and limitations, side effects, and unknowns.
Content Methodology
- Standardized Evidence Framework: Every peptide profile is structured using the same evidence grading system, ensuring consistency across all entries. Claims are categorized by the strength of available evidence (strong, moderate, preliminary, or limited).
- Primary Literature Sourcing: All claims are traced back to original peer-reviewed publications indexed on PubMed. We do not rely on secondary sources, manufacturer claims, or anecdotal reports.
- Negative and Null Results: We actively include studies with negative, null, or mixed results. Reporting only positive findings would misrepresent the state of the evidence.
Editorial Review Process
All articles undergo a structured review process before publication. Each peptide profile is reviewed against primary literature by researchers with backgrounds in pharmacology and biochemistry. Content is checked for accuracy of cited data, appropriate representation of study limitations, and correct evidence grading. Profiles are periodically re-reviewed when significant new research is published.
Content Advisory Board
Our content is reviewed by professionals with PhDs in pharmacology, biochemistry, and clinical medicine. Advisory board members review peptide profiles for scientific accuracy, appropriate context, and correct interpretation of research findings. To maintain independence and prevent commercial influence, advisory board members are not publicly named and receive no compensation tied to specific content outcomes.
Independence Statement
PeptideInsight receives no funding, sponsorship, or support of any kind from peptide manufacturers, compounding pharmacies, peptide vendors, or clinics that prescribe or sell peptides. Our editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of published evidence. We have no affiliate links, no sponsored content, and no financial relationships that could create a conflict of interest. This independence is fundamental to our mission and non-negotiable.
